Google Glass is here - let the adventures in higher education technology transformation begin!

Google Glass is an amazing technology device that allows an individual to take photos, videos, search the Internet, and access countless applications without using their hands.  It is only currently available through the "Explorer" program where individuals can complete an application for the opportunity to be selected to purchase the device. On April 15th Google allowed the general public to purchase the Glass while quantities lasted.  Google also opened the opportunity to a limited amount of companies that wanted to purchase several devices.  Everyone purchasing the device knows that it is on the beta testing phase.  The price is $1,500 plus tax.

As a professor, I look forward to all of the possibilities that this technology can be used for in higher education.  I look forward to posting my experiences!  Let the Google Glass higher education transformation adventures begin.
